Why can’t I use the rename club option

My NHL 23 club was recently reset. I see an option that says rename club. I click on this and put all the information, but it doesn’t save, any idea how to save this new information or if I can do it...

Renaming isn't always available. This depends on the severity of the action that was taken due to the previous club name.
