why can't I play couch co-op in HUT
whenever i try to play a single player mode like exhibition in hut and my girlfriend signs into her profile to play it says i need PSPLUS to play. this makes no sense for 2 reasons. We aren't trying ...

I am not an EA rep, but i find myself in these forums quite often. Out of curiosity did you upgrade your console within the last year? I am new to playing nhl on ps5, so have never encountered this issue yet. Will gladly take a look though to try and confirm why this issue is happening. Really sorry this is happening to you two! @PESKYHANS thanks for offering to help. currently my ps5 is up to date. it's an odd issue and we didn't have this issue last year and i am able to play any and all of the single player modes by myself. but once i try to add a friend in any of the single player hut modes it says my friend must have a psplus account. i took a video of the problem as well that i posted on twitter to EA but got no response there as well
