Why are you able to throw a hit at somebody, move them 5 feet in the process and they don't even react aside from being carried that distance, but it isn't enough momentum to cause an animation from being hit? That's not enough momentum for you?
I don't understand why you'd take that stance.
But it has become quite apparent that anything I post you'll find a way to say it was a bad hit and deserved to have zero reaction from the puck carrier. I'm just wasting my time posting videos of how I can abuse the game mechanics by simply turning away from hits (with zero momentum in my end while a guy can literally full charge at me) or I can continue to skate into players without consequences as shown here:

Meanwhile this wasn't an issue in 22, nobody complained about the hit bubble in 22 because it didn't exist and now when people complain they're just bad at the game and need to get the right attributes and charge and hit the logo of the player to get some type of reaction. Hip to hip contact shouldn't cause collisions because despite that occurring for most hits in real life, in this game it only matters that your shoulders or arms make contact directly through the body.
I'm aware I'm putting words in your mouth but please correct me where you feel differently from what I'm saying so we can find common ground here. Thank you.
And for anybody that's curious, I was playing against 3 players that all had truculence and I didn't have unstoppable force on either. Here's proof:
@EA_Aljo do you not see what's broken here? I'm literally skating into the opposition and they can't even get the puck loose. These guys have at least some good hitting as they're literally dedicating truculence to their builds.

Thanks for the feedback. As I mentioned before, we'll have to agree to disagree.

I don't think there is a "hit bubble" per say, but @TheUnusedCrayon videos do illustrate a problem. Low to medium momentum hits are having no impact at all on the puck carrier. They shouldn't knock the puck carrier down, but they should still have *some* effect on the puck carrier, ie puck loss, a small stumble, or at least some speed loss. Hitting seems to be all or nothing this year, you either nail them or nothing happens at all.

I understand that RS is a protect from hitting mechanic,
but it's really not the best game mechanics
the defender looks like a blind weak idiot
the attacker is a steel giant who is bitten by a flea. - KlariskraysNHL3 years agoHero+@bruanor09 1st video you could say he used the boards to brace a hit. And also Ovechkin didn't really connect with the check from a good angle. If he were to go down it would be because of his skates tripping him up which we know doesn't really happen.
2nd video the person is skating away from someone who tried to hit someone way too early. Should treat it more like the Madden hit stick where it's timed.
As with all things in these games it comes down to attributes and RNG. - FrOhl20113 years agoNew Scout@MikeyAU630 And it depends on what system you play on and against. On X the bumping-hits is higher rated. On ps the bubble is higher rated. (Rated/representative/occuring….etc)
- 3 years agoThe game often felt diffrent from time to time, don't know if it had to do with connection to the server or wich time on the day I was playing.
And especially after 'maintenance of servers' or directly after a patch, it was like the game had an reboot and felt much more responsive.
Which was a bit baffling, made it difficult to leave accurate feedback about tuners, patches or whatsoever.
I think the respons is everything, slightest delay can be the difference of a good gaming experience vs an awful.
