Why is nobody complaining about the hitting bubble?

Why is nobody talking about the bubble players have when they get hit from certain angles? You can have defensemen literally charge at somebody, throw a hit into their shoulder and they just bounce r...

I understand that RS is a protect from hitting mechanic,
but it's really not the best game mechanics
the defender looks like a blind weak idiot
the attacker is a steel giant who is bitten by a flea.

    @bruanor09 1st video you could say he used the boards to brace a hit. And also Ovechkin didn't really connect with the check from a good angle. If he were to go down it would be because of his skates tripping him up which we know doesn't really happen.

    2nd video the person is skating away from someone who tried to hit someone way too early. Should treat it more like the Madden hit stick where it's timed.

    As with all things in these games it comes down to attributes and RNG.
