Maybe it isn't speed and momentum after all but rather just high balance and holding the stick out to the side makes you immune from certain hits!
LMAO! Yeah, I don’t care if your player only got a piece of this guy, that much speed should’ve knocked both of you down and injured one of you.

Thank you. This is an excellent example. I'll get it passed on to the team.

As a former good hitter, averring around 11 hits per game, this is the worst flaw of the game. You build your player heavy with Truculence and you sacrifice speed and agility to be effective defensively, and you constantly run in to people that abuse this crap. The worst abuse maybe is the back out from behind the net, ignore hits and score, also slapshot goals from 1 feet.
I don't mind a player like Eki backing out like that, because you can do that in real life, BUT, you should increase the chance of a injury to about 90% if you get hit in that vulnerable position. Same thing as wrap-arounds IMHO, since you often hit the wrapping player strait in to the head.
So, fix the hitting,
the puck-pickups (more rarely)
the broken lobby's (most often happens when a player gets swapped between games, then you search indefinably),
the matchmaking (don't put teams whth 15000-18000 vs 24000+ teams.
the Playoffs, make them optional or remove them (currently we just stop playing for the duration)
Let us pick acceptable servers, and name them by location (Stockholm and Frankfurt?)
Fix your net-code, other games are playable between 100-200ms, not this game!
These are just from the top of my head, there are many more suggestions, but start here. =)
Yeah let us reconnect to our games
, and play on PC

Yeah that one put life to all my nightmares I had with this serie. (caused so much pain in my hands trying to 'bump' them away from my net)
And also the one major move that gives so much more advantage to the offensive vs defence.
Good players can basically get the puck from his own zone to the o-zone without skating at all, just put the puck out to one of your sides and bend passes around any attacking player that comes at you.
Playing aggressive defence gets useless against thoose that slow the game-pace down by relaying on this frustrating 'mechanics' that protect them from any physical play.
Which is the exact opposite to 'how it suppose to be', if you manage to slow down your opponent, thats when he should be the most vulnerable for any physical/aggressive defence.
But good video example by kid and also good to see Aljo recognize this 'problem' by sending it forward to the 'situation room'. A recognition of the problem were all are having, more and less.
Would mean so much for the game flow if this 'bubble' wasen't there to protect thoose that clearly dosent deserve to have that clean possession of the puck.
