In the first video, the carrier is using puck protect. This stabilizes them better against hits. Also, the defender is backskating. They aren't going to have as much momentum behind the hit.
In the 2nd clip, the carrier is being hit from the side. Again, there's not as much momentum behind the hit. They also go in to puck protect right after so possibly they hit that button at the same time as the hit from the side. The defender also looks like they're smaller than the carrier and we don't know the ratings between both players.
For the 3rd video, the hitter is chasing the carrier. They also lose speed when they hit their defender teammate. This is another example of not having enough momentum. If you have 2 objects traveling in the same direction, the object behind trying to hit the object in front of them won't make as big an impact is if those 2 objects were colliding head on.
The 4th clip is more of the same. The defender decides to make a sweeping turn and try to hit them into the boards. They also don't make good contact. It would have been a lot more effective to hit from the front or boardplay.
None of those are showing any sort of hitting bubble.

Can you please explain then, how ai can consistently bump me off the puck from behind? All they do is breathe near me and my player stumbles. Are there different rules for players versus a.i.?
