It's gonna be a rough go for this year because people will still complain. But when nobody buys the next game because they don't want to be put through this abusive cycle of a company taking their money and saying "to hell with it", there will be less people to complain, so that's good!
It is official that this game is on life support because people can tolerate misguided care, but people won't tolerate a lack of care at all.
Now EA has to nail NHL 24. They have to get it right and have no bugs because people know those aren't gonna get fixed for that game either.
The pressure on the devs now is absolutely wild.
This is my biggest issue with this company and franchise anymore. If it doesn't get fixed right away it could be 2 to 3 years before it ever gets fixed, if it ever does. Most things we seem to get a Band-Aid fix that everybody finds a workaround for within a week and then it's never touched or heard about again. That's the life cycle of this game and it hasn't gotten better only worse
