Community ManagerOnline versus games don't take place on our servers. Either you or your opponent are the host. So, if one of you has a bad connection, both will feel it. Are you playing on a wireless connection by chance?

let me ask, it's always been interesting. Who is the host of the game? who invited or who is at home?
I often play tournament games, is there a need to change at home / away or is it better to re-invite for a fair game?

I believe the host is the home side, but I might be wrong about that. However, if either team has a bad connection, it's going to affect both teams. I'm checking on what decides who is the host and will respond when I have some news.
Edit: I have found out the home team is the host.

This explains why people quit if they're not the home team in OVP.
