@SnizzBarDizz2ohYou mean less then 3% of the playbase. Im sure they would be. There isn’t a market on pc for sports titles. There really never has been except racing.
also if it ever went to PC people would use controller so what would be the point?.

Oh yes, tell that to the large FIFA PC market. A market that grows every year, in part because people don't want to or can't buy the newest consoles. And do you know what grows with the PC market? The online presence. The twitch numbers go up. The Youtube numbers go up.
I have looked through every conversation on this forum on this topic and it seems to boil down to two things. People believing that the PC market is small, which is honestly pure stupidity, and people believing that NHL can't be as large as Madden etc. Hockey is like the third largest sport in the world. Football is the largest of course, by a mile, but Hockey is well up there with the big boys. The notion that NHL can't become a massive game in its own right is also rather stupid.
To me, it seems like the reason this hasn't happened is rather simple. The developers have grown stagnant, content, and scared of change. They don't want to make any large changes because they're afraid of losing the people they have while developing something else. It's a small risk honestly. The guy who keeps responding to these discussions always keeps mentioning that it's not that easy. While also saying that there isn't much graphical difference. Come on. This is not a small developer, it's not a indie developer. It's a AAA studio with resources to do this, but they're choosing not to.
Just because you have the newest console, can you seriously not see the reason people would buy it on PC? Are you so blind to everyone else and can only see things as they are in your life? Yes, people still play with a controller. But people play RPGs on controller a lot of the time too, they still buy them on PC. It's easier for a lot of gamers. Some buy it there because they say it runs better, because it's easier to mod, it usually has better graphics etc. It also simplifies the streaming process, and the recording process. Meaning a lot more people will put out content which will spread word of the game. Just the fact of it existing on steam would draw more people to testing the game.
