I feel removing penalties for quitting will only encourage more toxic behavior ans cause more games to crash - no XP removes a ton of the mode's appeal too, in my opinion.
I think the team would be better off just readding the team practice mode but allow temporary/probation status, possibly timed, to potential new teammates.
The game is very quick to think you're being selfish in offline modes so they'd need to tweak how the system works. I completely agree there needs to be more done about deliberate ragging though.
I believe it was 20 when I went hard on ONES and collected all the bags -- Got to the point all I could get was tokens but there was still 30+ unlockable items and emotes left because they were locked behind challenges.
I still haven't unlocked my team's song yet, last year it was February before we finally unlocked our mascot head -- we are never able to unlock the arenas we want because we just cant play 30 games per day anymore.
I'd love for some sort of marketplace or way of starring/preferring certain types of gear over others.
@TTZ_Dipsy I would only remove this penalty for drops. I think it would just make it easier to quit when you get a troll on your team. I can see how it could be a problem too though. When I get a guy who goes offside and just stands a foot over the line preventing the rest of the team from entering.. you don't have any interest in playing anymore.. i mean personally I dunno why people waste their lives/ time and do that or pay $60 to do it.. just seems like you gotta hate your life.
I could see a better practice mode being really nice. Allow clubs to run drills together and stuff. Teaching friends who have never played how to challenge a 2 on 1 or how to one time with a defender trying to disrupt it is sorta tough while playing.
Personally I just think drops needs changes. Too many trolls, too many people with no idea what they're doing, too many "quality" clubs (personally I'm not upset if they're a below average club learning to play) playing vs random groups. I'd be good with hearing other suggestions but for now it's just a hard mode to have fun with.
Yeah, I agree a system would have to be created to ensure players don't get penalized wrongly. I mean currently the game knows where we are on the ice (it highlights defensive zones for people in BAP) I would just have a timer in the defensive zone, it speeds up a bit if behind the net.. and it does not reset until there is a change of possession. This would keep players from going past the blue and cycling it back. It would also not penalize a team for passing it back and missing a target as long as you're trying to move the puck up with some pace. Then the ref can either call something, a player blows a tire, or all opponent stats and energy is absolutely depleted. I think nearly everyone who plays this game knows something needs done to combat this.. we just all disagree with what and to what extreme. Unfortunately EA does not feel this needs corrected.
