Women are STILL announced as men

Question

After all these years, EA STILL refuses to fix the announcement issue.

I am playing the women's tournament and one of my players, a female for the USA team, got her 5th goal of the tournament. The announcer comes on and says her name and then says "HIS fifth goal of the season..." Hmmm... HIS??? SHE is a SHE in this game.

EA, are you EVER going to fix your game? Like, AT ALL? This has been plaguing the game for several installments so far. I think I sent EA a bug report about this during NHL 17 or 18 I think. It STILL hasn't been fixed? I guess this whole series IS TRULY a copy/paste game. No wonder the same bugs are plaguing it.

Anyone else hearing the announcer misgendering the women's league? I am surprised the women playing it AND the women who are ACTUALLY in the game haven't complained about it. Oh well. Nothing new here, folks. Nothing to see here, since you saw it in previous installments of this series. LOL

It's rather hard to get video on a PS5. I know it cant be done, but it is truly a hassle. to be honest, I turn all those settings off as I don't even go online and share my gaming experience with Twitch and all that.
