Thank you for providing this information. I've been saying these things for years but my math is horrible.
On top of all of that, it makes the goaltenders look absolutely ridiculous with their save animations. Every year up until the past 2 years I've tuned the shot power down to make it look more realistic but with the spiderman goalies you can't beat them with hard shots in good areas unless you crank up the power even more than the ridiculous speeds they already have set.
Would be nice to see goalie reaction times turned down and shot speed turned down to emulate the sport. That way when a hard shot does come off a stick it feels impactful in the game.

Honestly, that can be changed with sliders too, and I personally don't have too much of an issue with the state of goalies at the moment (in offline versus type modes) - they do occasionally have the moments where their animations just transition at superhuman speeds, but honestly, not my biggest concern at the moment.

Probably depends on the game speed you set it at. Right now on game speed 1 for my sim sliders, if I tune the shot speed down and put goalie save reaction speed to 0, they'll save 99.9% of shots.

Hmmm. I haven't tested that yet. Will have to try that eventually.
Weirdly enough, I did these shot tests last year, and I think they were coming out to like. 68 mph.
