To be clear, my goalie build in WoC has 93 speed, but the goalie still feels like he moves very slow. I'd love to see human goalie movement speed increased to be more in line with the speedy feel of the tether controls.
@SummerOfDekesI passed along these videos to Aljo to see what they can find out. I know he replied but I think you were meaning this correct?
Tether Off Side to Side just L stick

@KlariskraysNHLYes, that's what I'm talking about. My guess is that this is just a product of the tether controls having a limited number of spots that your goalie can actually stand in, so the goalie is just snapping to the next spot instantly.
@EA_Aljo, I see what you mean about using the L3 speed boost. On my controller, I have extra buttons so I just mapped the speed boost button to one of those so that it's easier (imo) to activate. Only thing I would say is that the speed boost function seems inconsistent.
If I move my goalie side to side using speed boost, he doesn't always seem to move any faster until he's taken a few strides. But, if I rotate the left stick rapidly, my goalie will move incredibly fast. Personally, I'd love to see speed boost changed to be an instant and consistent speed as soon as you press the button. I say this because the most useful situations for speed boost is for getting over for one-timers and cross-creases and the speed boost doesn't really help too much if it's not activating until I'm basically already in position for the save anyway.Perhaps a balance would be to have the speed boost be instant and consistent, but to also be tied to the goalie's stamina bar. So, if the goalie needs to use boost, he can, but it'll drain his energy faster. Also, if the goalie's energy is too low, the boost could either be significantly slower or cause the goalie to stumble in a desperation animation.
Just some ideas.
