This is in Squad Battles but it happens all the time during Rivals and Champs as well. #4 is the intended recipient of this pass but it targets the player behind him for some strange reason. #4 completely ignores it, even jumps, can't get out of the way fast enough.https://www.xbox.com/play/media/DcuGF7PAXt

@HurricaneFza Thanks. I'll pass this on to the team. I too have noticed there are times when a pass goes through when you think it shouldn't. As far as I know, it's dependent on the strength of the pass, but I have seen passes that didn't seem to be fully charged also have the intended receiver letting it through to a teammate.

Short passes don't work in this game for whatever reason. I did see 4 hustling back into defensive position and not in a position to receive the outlet. Your strategies might dictate any defensemen would ignore the pass.
I do have my players seemingly defending against my passes and often go out of their way to try to pick up a pass intended for another player.

@HurricaneFza this game will constantly mess up any intelligent play you attempt because its coded to make mistakes more frequent to make the game appear more challenging. Wide open passes will get picked off from AI with rocket boots and 10ft invisible sticks to compensate for them not being able to keep up with you. AI teammates will just abandon the forecheck to go for a line change or transition to neutral zone coverage when the pressure meter is full. AI teammates will intentionally slow up on a breakaways so that the opponent AI can prevent a clean pass for 1t. AI opponents will rapidly body check you 5 or 6 times in a row to prevent you from getting loose pucks. Something no human would be able to accomplish, but because they are AI, they get to do stuff that completely breaks the immersion. This mode makes me rage like no other.
