Hey there. I'll try to find if the league limit has increased as well. I'll report back when I have some news.
@Beauts90 Thanks for posting this while I was away for the weekend. I've stickied it now for better visibility.
Edit: I have confirmed there will still be a max of 48 teams for custom leagues.
I thought since this post is now stickied to the top (thanks @EA_Aljo ) and there being so little information on Franchise mode it might be a good place to try and get some questions answered.
I know there are still a bunch of unknowns about the mode and some people waiting for answers before deciding to buy, so maybe some of us playing the early real release tomorrow can answer some of the questions.
Tougie is streaming at the moment and he went to edit Trevor Zegras salary from at around 1M to 5.75M and NO JOKE it took more that 5 minutes 😳
He was disgusted as the scroller to go UP or DOWN is even SLOWER than it was before !!! No options to type a salary or go up by bigger increments… Still 😫
He also said that the Roster that came with the game is awful 😣
Just saw the same video! Haha I asked for typing area just like name for salary. But to see the scroll being soooo slow! Oof hope it gets fixed! Just like the defenseman/potential issue…

Also HOW can we not change our line strategies in franchise mode??? Like we are allowed to do everything else in franchise mode. How come we don’t have an option to turn it off and set it up to the way we want?? There’s never a coach out there that does everything I want. It stinks. Please fix it. This was one of the things that made me stop playing 23 after a month. Quickly regretting preordering this
- @PernellKarl027 I am curious if they will update the emotionless black silhouettes without headshot pics during an update. I think not, but maybe one of a developer read about this. Its no fun to play with guys like Logan Cooley, Faber, Knies to play without. Better would be they give us a picture upload. Don't think it is about copyright, cause we can create every player which is not in the game with his correct data.
At the very at least it’s an easy decision for those that are questioning to buy it.
if you liked 23’s franchise mode, need updated rosters and like the new gameplay additions it’s an easy buy.
if you prefer 23’s gameplay and don’t mind using those rosters stick to 23 as I didn’t notice any changes to Franchise mode other than X-Factor gains.
