Is there no way to remove the custom build when using this skater? If not thats a huge miss, and should probably be stated on the store when purchasing that you cannot use a custom build at all with this character. Renders this almost completely useless when being forced to play with a goon build. Really should be changed to allow you to use the character while also using your own custom build

Yes thats exactly it. Nobody who plays this game at a remotely competitive level would ever use this build in a club setting. I should be able to remove the attached custom build to it and instead use my own. I assumed this was just a skin that i could use, now that i realized i can only use the goon build associated with it, Ive already taken it off and treating it as a wasted 1000 points

I completely agree that the store is essentially selling the character separately and it makes it look purely cosmetic (Which it should be). Attaching a single build option that you can unlock in the battle pass is just awful. You can use the preset unique builds with any custom skater, it should work the other way around as well, cosmetic characters should be open to your own unique builds. Either that or have text letting people know so many don’t waste their money

@Assisted_6 The Hammer is the custom build you can't edit and far exceeds what a custom grinder can do and that is the trade-off. Obviously they mostly selling the bundle of cosmetics but I will assume when the next season rolls around they will sell bundles for the previous battle pass builds for those you may have missed out on them.

You want to use the players looks on different builds like a playmaker. Just the looks aspect?

I purchased this build and now it will now allow me to even switch to any other builds that I made such as sniper or 2 way forward
I am stuck using Hammer every game

You can see it shows I have other loadouts
Even shows I have sniper and Hammer active ...
But when I goto Ready up and play it reverts back to Hammer loadout and shows I only have that as optio

Somebody posted having this issue also. Hopefully it wasn't just you so they can have several cases to examine and actually fix it. Imagine buying something and paying extra to break something in the game for you.
