IIHF license in NHL 24?

@Froommey Sadly say, but this show very well how much EA Sports care offline players and creation zone. If these problems would be in online game modes like HUT or EASHL, EA Sports fix it soon. But when they are in offline mode or creation zone , they not react nothing

I made an interesting observation.

EA Sports added National League A to NHL10 and the next year they added WHL, OHL and QMJHL to NHL 11. EA Sports added ECHL to NHL 17 and the next year they added HockeyAllsvenskan, EBEL (current ICE Hockey League), Spengler Cup and CHL to NHL 18. This year will be six years since, when EA Sports has added new leagues to the game. Same six years interval is also between NHL 11 and NHL 18.

Could this portend a new league in the game?

@Juhani_91_91 Unfortunately I think no. Since years they do very less for offline modes. From my opinion the Slovakian or NCAA league would be the next. The KHL I doubt. The NCAA and KHL they could add with fantasy names, players so it would be no licensing problem.

@Froommey Slovak Extraliga would nice see at game in the future. In this world situation I don't see any possibility, that EA Sports will add KHL to the game. NCAA would be awesome add to game. I want see Mestis in the game. Mestis would be good add to the game, there plays interesting teams. Also Swiss League would be good add to game, like also DEL 2.

@Froommey By the way, I saw in YouTube that they will present today the HUT news. So last chance before release to present news for offline modes is next friday. So we will see next friday if and what they work for offline gamers. I don't think that the offline gamers are a minority.

@Froommey They always finish with Ultimate Team video. I posted in presentation area with maybe some stuff that could be used for offline but nothing about mode talk.

@KlariskraysNHL So it means we will not get any presentation about news for offline modes ?

@Froommey With how they have always done stuff I'm going with no. The HUT trailer was always the last right before launch to get them hyped for it.

And from the very 1st interview that is how I took it. I believe they are working on an Online Franchise mode that of course would also have Offline Franchise getting upgraded too down the road and yes that would include your presentation you all have been asking for. So it might be one of those things that has to take time to cook before it's ready.

@KlariskraysNHL Then we can look forward to seeing what the team presents to us over the next few years. Of course it takes time to develop new things. The appreciation for offline modes in recent years has been very low. However, if there really are no new changes this year, many players from the offline community will leave the game for this year. I think the team has now realized this too.
