Sounds like the EA rep is getting frustrated with all the complaints about gameplay. Now they now what we feel like as their customers who feel like we paid good money to play test the unfinished game for the last 3 months.

Community ManagerI have my own frustrations with gameplay. Some of them are right along with the rest of you, but pokes and stick lifts are not a part of that.
- Its really sad to see what EA have done to our favorite game that is now boring and pretty unplayable . Does EA want the gameplay and the hitting to be this strange and bad?? I know that EA can make good hockey games, NHL 23 and back are good hockey games .Im really dissipointed in EA and the team that force me and my buddy to stop play NHL and find some other game
Trust me I’ll be sending a video montage of exactly whats happening. Like today for instant i poked the puck off of one player perfectly and then out of nowhere, the guy near him got tripped from my stick lol. Even if you execute a perfect poke check 9/10 the skater continues to pick up the puck and gain possession or it magically goes to their teammate in their favor… please dont act like this is the first time you heard of this complaint. This is the only game i play for the most part and its so hard to play at times because of this horrible gameplay. I’ll keep you posted on when i post that video.

It's definitely not the first time I've heard this complaint. It's been around for many years. I'm just saying I understand why it happens. Which is most often due to attributes and positioning.
