The problem maybe ist that no one of the devs play franchise or BAP so they have no big intrest to work for this modes. I personaly guess that the offline gamers are more as they tell us. The thing is that online brings a lot of money so the good old modes are not important and no more welcome. Many of us want to relax after a hard working day and play a bit his beloved hockey game in the balanced range of his skills offline and not go to online and play against well experienced gamers to be punished in the game. To old and to much stress for me.
Yes i think it is only half of the truth when they say we are listening to all of the offline fans but the online fanbase is bigger.The other half of the truth is that they want the online gaming TO BE BIGGER so their is no excuses for them to build up the online as big as possible in the future on the cost of the true offline fans, which is the biggest fanbase who BUILD UP the whole NHL franchise gaming.
SLEVLESS GAMING on YOUTUBE is what i think one of the best and biggest CHANNELS playtesting EA NHL game every year and even him now on one of his most recent videos 9,20min in the video (total video is 12,36 min)just look it up is praying to EA that replays ,intros full presentation must come back.And all over the You Tube i can read about fans that wanting full presentation back so i think EA want to BUILD up online so big that they do not have to care about OFFLINE ANYMORE what other conclusion can we be having to this treatment?Last 12 months we have had 100 pages ++ on this board about it and screaming and begging and what is the result so far?YES EVEN MORE ARCADE HOCKEY STYLE IS PRESENTED in NHL 24 about as long way from real vision hockey we could possibly get.
But read this if you continue to ignore the offline fans who build up the NHL franschise from the start LONG before online even existed are most likely going to leave the game in the NEAR future the game is going to be to arcady.And THEN the developpers and EA are going to want the community that have left to come back that loves the game for what it is and want a real hockey experience not a game for kids or like the ones on your phone with flashing meters and icons.So i think EA must listen NOW and impress us is much easier WHEN WE ARE THE ONE BEGGING for it than when EA want us all back who has left for good.
Maybe the most developers are younger guys and they have no more old programers from past in their team ? It would also explain about the new game progress going to online and leave offline behind.
