By this time these things have been an issue since 2015. This studio has a partnership with the NHL and still manages to put out an incredibly stupid-gimmicky-fortnite-hockey clone. It's absurd at this point. Back in the day, the developers cared about REAL HOCKEY and it showed. There was lag, bad code optimization, etc then too, but at least we had the feeling of being on an NHL ice. The things we have now with X-factor, Flex Moments, etc are proof of extreme disconnect from the hockey world. It takes you out of the game in such a silly way. EA is more connected to the idea of less work and more profit IE Ultimate Team and e-sports (this they failed with along with caring for offline people).
We ask for so little but still, we, the truly passionate fans of hockey are being ignored.
