NHL 24 Presentation discussion

After watching the presentation clip from EA as well as this thread I’m still wondering, is there a “presentation” like 20/21/22 before a game in an offline mode?? I mean I’m a glutton for punishment and already preordered but I only play franchise or BAP. No presentation at the beginning of a game was sorely missed last year which was one of the reasons I stopped playing 23 by Christmas 

If they have taken it out for good then I am out for good. Like you, I'm a presentation junkie! (Can't call myself a nerd lol) Presentation mode always made the game more immersive and realistic. I was pissed when I bought 23 and it wasn't even an option. Felt totally ripped off. What made it worse was EA didn't seem to really respond in a way that made us think they even cared. Which sucks because I have been playing since 94. I'm waiting on game release reviews and if full mode presentation is not back then I'm keeping my money. I'll  go back to my older versions and even though I'm one guy that won't dent their bottom line I will be one loyal customer they lost.

I'm not going to deny how good their presentation was. They absolutely did an amazing job. Our focus has obviously been more on gameplay. First and foremost, we make a game that is intended to be played. Not just watched. Our efforts have had to have been more on the actual playing of the game as that is where our core audience is. If we made a game that focused only on presentation, we'd be upsetting and probably losing the high majority of our fans and most likely would have a difficult time sustaining this game.

We're currently focused on making you a part of the on-ice action. I know a big part of that for some of you is including every aspect of what it feels like to be watching a real game. I would love to see us get there someday. We'll have to wait and see if that happens. We're most certainly not ignoring presentation for NHL 24 though and will have more on this soon.

@EA_AljoYou can easily accomplish both things just bringing back intros & replays like it was in NHL 22. Have 30-second intros talking about a star player/rivalry/ice show & replays for big hits & saves. You dont even have to overhaul anything, just re-add the feature. And it gives a reason for the glowstick additions & projections added in 23 🤯

Hi there, I am also playing this game for almost 20 years. I like the progression done for most parts of the game. But I don‘t understand the lack of player likeness. Only around 20 new authentic faces added to NHL 24. HUT as an important online fantasy mode starts really to get boring when you have to play each and every year with the same players or you have to accept generic faces. Other sports game do a much better job. As the players are the core of this game franchise, drastic changes have to be done. Having at least 20 players with authentic faces for each team and about 100 legends! Additionally I don‘t like the new celebration style. I hope this can be turned off in the final version of the game. Anyway I am looking forward to NHL 24.
