I agree. I'd like to see the option to turn it off, but as it is, it's not getting in the way of anything. I totally understand this is just personal preference though so I'm trying to gather some feedback on this to see if there are specific conditions where it's more apparent.
Thanks for the feedback, @BellisJ01. Strangely enough, I'm not noticing the boards, but I see how they can be distracting. My eyes tend to focus on the puck and players so I'm not looking at the boards much, but obviously, this isn't the way everyone operates.

Yes this is really unbelievable i can not understand put things on the ice like this and force us look at.It is a new system i get that they have worked hard for and they want to show it off but the system weakest point become just that we are FORCED to look at this big meters ALL THE TIME and the whole system fails to much because of it. - bobemil_sw132 years agoRising Hotshot@BassMan_PC Well said. It's EA showing their true colors. This will not be changed this year. I can almost promise you. That's why I didn't bpught the game this year.

I've been reading from many different gaming forums about this whole pressure system what EA decided to put in NHL 24 and... Almost every message that has something about this pressure system is NEGATIVE so it is pretty clear that this system is not liked (at least in Finland) so... I have made my decision to NOT BUY this years game or in the future as long this system is in. It is not all about that meter. It is also about this whole system and how that affects your gaming experience.
I have not seen boards going red or any meter in middle of my TV screen when i have watched real NHL game so... If it's in the game it's in the game but that kind of thing is not in the real NHL game so why it has to be in the game? Just wondering...
See you next year. Maybe.
- 2 years agoI had to see some old clips just to compare, have to say I dont like where NHL are heading, it's all about money and commercial.
First of the jerseys and second the ice, all this grease is taking the beauty out of the sport.
It's more importen to see who's sponsor Detroit Red Wings o-zone then where the puck is.
