NHL 25 for PC

You don't have to have an Xbox. Just an Xbox account with a Game Pass Ultimate subscription. Then, you can play it over Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Requesting NHL for PC on Steam please, been waiting for over 5 years now and the wait continues, lol. Dont own a console and never will.

Having it available on the Xbox cloud is nice and all but not great. First you need the Xbox ultimate gamers pass to access it, not the pc gamers pass. Second, that cloud gaming freezes up on me all the time. Not sure how good it is for others but it's frustrating to be in the middle of a game and poof it's gone. So it needs to be downloadable to be reliable.

There has been quite a bit of positive feedback on the performance through cloud gaming. It's possible this is hardware/connection related. Especially if you're playing over a wireless connection. When you're freezing, does the whole game lock up and disconnect or is it freezing for a moment, then speeding up and returning to normal?

The game locks up and I get booted out. There are times tho where the games freezes up which bis also terrible cause a sports game is non stop. So while you're frozen who knows what might happen. It's not just NHL, it is any game on cloud gaming that I play. It's not been a good experience at all.

Is it all games specifically over Xbox cloud gaming? If so, have you contacted their support to see if they have any suggestions? Is there an error message when you get kicked?

Yes it's any game I play on cloud gaming. Which mostly I've played MLB the show. A little bit of NHL 24. It was so slow or freezing issues that I just went back to my ps5 and my NHL 23 physical copy. But I prefer to play on pc because I have a Legion Go and it's nice and portable. I also don't care about online play. 

No error code that I can remember. And no I haven't spoken to Xbox support. Just assumed it was issues with cloud gaming. I've read others with similar issues. This is why I'm letting my Xbox gamers pass expire here shortly.

Gotcha. Thanks for the details. It sounds like this is an issue not related to the game. Especially since it's happening on all titles you access through cloud gaming. Do you happen to have another PC available? It would be good to see if a laptop/desktop has the same issue for you.
