Even when your player is in proper position, and even when they do make contact with the oncoming pass, they very frequently just bobble the puck and immediately lose it.
I use a PMD and stay between offensive threats, intercepting passes. The majority do not stay on my stick for me to retain possession. 84 def awareness and 90 puck control 86 hand eye. I would thjnk that is enough to not consistently mishandle soft easy loose pucks or passes.
In general, picking up loose pucks is a big issue on both ends of the ice.

Not that all passes should be intercepted or even disrupted but there has to be some middle ground here. The passer should have to think twice if someone is actually well positioned to cover their target or in the lane at a reasonable distance to react to the pass. Don't get me wrong a well timed pass in the gap between a defenders feet and stick at close proximity where it is tough to get a handle on the puck should sneak through more often than not but this has to be recognized by well timed passes not the forced garbage we see now.
Third clip my guy could at least react to the puck whizzing by his feet or maybe get it deflected to some extent. The rest of this clip shows the fight glitch in club where you can get drawn into a fight you did nothing to instigate, will also post in that thread.

Been posting clips like these for months, Glad to see they're finally considering adjusting it to actually work more frequently. Should have been tuned months ago.
