Bought the game pre order with early access, just to find out, that the promised hybrid control isn't added to game.
I can't play with skill stick, I have used hybrid for decades.
EA promised us the hybrid stick, but didn't deliver. I have absolutely no use for my early access, and can't get ahead in the game since it's unplayable for me.
EA suckered me into this buy under a dishonest precondition. In what other type of businees would you be allowed this type of governance, without being liable?
Shame on you EA - milking your customers by lying to them - GREAT...

We said back in August that Hybrid controls would return post launch so I don't know where we promised they would be back today.
@NHLANDERS I'll pass on the feedback. It's very possible this could get adjusted in a future update. For now, I've been slapping the puck out to clear it.
- Oh, if I read the forum, I would know that there is no hybrid. Then I wouldn't have pre-ordered, but would have been waiting for the release of this feature.
- @EA_Aljo The indicator under the player (indicator) if I make it smaller, bigger in the settings, nothing changes, the indicator is still the same.
- @sWator32 You can actually turn it off completely. Though you won't have the small triangle indicator above it like in previous years, I found this to not be a problem.
- @CordLehman I'm thinking about turning it off completely, but the indicator won't change (the largest one won't decrease even though the setting offers it)
I found an alternate way of dumping, it sort of gives you more height and power. hold down R2 and shoot with Right stick. @EA_Aljo
- @NHLANDERS I was all excited until learning it doesn’t work with Skill Stick. Does nothing for players like me unfortunately.

I have passed on the feedback for this, but I don't have any details on whether or not they will return.
My main issue with this patch is during offline gaming, The AI will knock you around way too much. The push/hit is abuse by the ai and it makes the game a hit fest. I think the AI need to tune down the effectiveness and frequency of hitting. Otherwise, we are playing NHL Hitz here.
- @TU_Niklas I'm playing, but I had to remap every possible control, and even that doesn't help much...a Moment that should take me one try takes like 10, it's totally absurd.
