PLEASE fix the wait times
Jesus. It takes 3 minutes MINIMUM to find a game in 3s. Thats if you're lucky! I've been waiting 10 minutes and nothing. I decided to come on the forums. Man, this game has been a dissapointment, but what is new EA.

3v3 or Threes? Old gen or current? What matchmaking settings are you using?
Threes is becoming less popular
Current gen has finally surpassed old gen for population so it's advised to upgrade if you haven't already
The time you play and your region play a huge role in matchmaking - 5pm-9pm PST (8pm-12am EST) seems to be the best time to play
"Use best location" will give you better quality games but you'll have to match for longer to compensate
Playing without drop-ins will naturally take longer ( I Still can't believe they actually added the option in the first place)- @TTZ_Dipsy I play 6's, in the morning I like to try and get a couple games in before work and can play one if I'm lucky, it takes forever to find a game, and thats on both the PS5 & PS4 versions.
6's, especially on weekday mornings, is probably the worst combo
current gen, and na it can't be less popular. In NHL 23 it worked super fast. It didn't take 5+ minutes to find a match, even on very non busy hours and days. something is very wrong with this matchmaking, it isn't just me noticing it
Even on the most busy hours like you said, still 3+ minutes. lmao.
I got 4 near-instant games last night. What region are you in, are you using wired or wifi connection, and what player count parameters are you using?
Are you trying to find club games, drop-ins or club game with drop-ins added? I'm finding club games in seconds but the couple of times I tried to play a drop-in game it took several minutes.
They have been for years making it easier and easier for kids to score goals and now they took it away a bit so that may have pissed a lot of people off and not buying.
Then there are people like me and my group who enjoy the new gameplay a bit more than before but not crazy enough to pay $100 for this buggy mess of a yearly patch release so we will wait for it to be included in ea play or heavily discounted.
So all that to say, possibly the game is just less populated.
It doesnt help that they never figured out what caused the fatmanlag and that PS users have a huge advantage over xbox users and most people probably disable crossplay.

Once again, 10pm central, activate battle pass booster, waste 20 minutes looking for a game.parameters allow for essentially any size teams in 6s, everyone wired, central US server location. Cross play was supposed to fix these issues, yet this game has made us wait the longest to consistently find games out of all of them
Update** wasted 38 minutes of my 60 minute battle pass token looking for a game, thanks EA
