The Auto Fight

Question

@EA_Aljo&nbsp;I'm wondering if this has been looked into yet.&nbsp;&nbsp; Let me be clear: This is NOT from a post whistle shot into the net, nor a big hit.Goalie just covers the puck, and some idiot on the other team just spams Y/Triangle to try to fight. You put your controller down to take a drink, next thing you know you're fighting.&nbsp;&nbsp; This was a major issue on launch, and seems EA buried their heads in the sand here with it.&nbsp;&nbsp; What I'd like to know is if this is corrected for NHL 25? OR will you introduce the Instigator penalty (5 for fighting, plus 2 and 10 for instigating) for this nonsense?

Yes. This is an issue we're aware of. It won't be addressed for 24 though.

I'm cool with it happening in 25 as long as the instigator penalty comes with it.&nbsp; Would 100% curb a ton of the unnecessary fights people are forced into even after hits

This one is a bug, but I agree on the instigator penalty. The constant fight attempts are annoying for sure. I don't mind it when you injure a player on a big hit though. I think it's pretty reasonable to expect a teammate to step up in this scenario.

@EA_Aljo&nbsp;Yeah and that's fine, and sometimes those guys would get the instigator too, but not every time.&nbsp;&nbsp; The ones that need the instigator are the "bugged" ones...just allow them to do it, but it comes with the 17 minutes of penalties too
