Walking through body position

I was asked to post a clip of what I was referring to, in this clip, Mcdavid walks up to Doughty who is carrying the puck, he proceeds to walk through body position to the wall where he proceede to pass through Mcdavid to his open man. This happens multiple times a game in HUT, usually along the boards.

You can also see it later in the clip where a player stops him along the boards with a poke and while having body position the player behind retrieves the puck from a poke check and proceeds to pass through the defender.

    Thanks for the video. Can you give me the time stamps in that video of the issues you're reporting?

  • @EA_Aljo It's in the 1st couple of seconds. He misses a poke then stays on Doughty who goes along the boards and gets a weak pass off. I mean to me it's normal gameplay. Cause the whole stick isn't a solid object and we can't zoom in far enough to judge if the pass went thru skates and what not.

    Thanks. It looks like the poke check misses, then there's a stick lift, but they get the pass off right before that happens. It doesn't look like the puck is passing through anything. I think the pass gets made due to a missed stick lift.

  • I just think that the stick should have collision with players. I don't like that he can pass through my body, it should at least be a deflected pass. It's why I want more of a simulation game. I think this is arcadey.

    @llamaverox This is just the game functioning in its normal arcadey intended way.

    I think what would really be nice to see here is some incidental body contact when two players are obviously colliding like McDavid and Doughty are in this clip. Doughty's body doesn't respond to McDavid's at all, here.

    Which is why I don't think arcade is the correct direction of the series. I want a simulation style game.
