There are some good tutorials on youtube for how to create more scoring chances
@jimmo52 Just because you get more high scoring chances doesn't mean you're going to score more. On average you do, but every game you watch (and it could be a top competitive player like Eki shooting with ridiculous 99 overall rated players) you're going to see a lot of 10-bell saves.

Here's a game I played where my opponent took 1 shot from the slot the whole game and won 2-1. Yet you can review the shots I took and well over 12 of them are Grade A scoring chances that would have a great chance of going in in real life and you just get goalie'd when your opponent literally just skates in and shoots from a wide angle and end up winning.
@TheUnusedCrayonWell high scoring chances mean you have higher chances to score, so that means you are going to score more.
There is a reason why competitive players win... they score more. And how they score? With high scoring chances. Saw some videos of Eki and yes, he does get robbed but he still can score lots of goals... with high scoring chances.
From you video, there was like 5 high scoring chances in this game NHL24. Forget about real life, goalies in this game is not the same as real life.
And it happens to me too to lose to goalie robbing me. But majority of my games, I can score goals thanks to those high scoring chances
- 2 years ago@jimmo52 ???? I can honestly say i average 30+ grade A scoring chanses per game! My opp around 1-2/game. But every 50% of those games i simply cant score/win. Even when out shooting/playing/tikitaka/gegen/owning my opp.
Explain it!- 2 years ago
@COS_huntersScoring chances are pretty much relative so your scoring chances may be grade A for you but might be grade D for the game. Grade A for me is for scoring chances that pros usually try to go for.
Again, I doubt you can go that many high scoring chances in a short game. You should show us videos of shots that you make so we can discuss it better.
- 2 years ago@jimmo52 So if i DOMINATE a game I need 60:1 grade A chanses to even get a chanse to win 1-0 every 50% of the games?
Is that what you are saying?
I completly dominantes games grade A 30/40-1 VERY often despite what you think. Even in burst.
But still same result.
Now thats my question . WHY?
What am i missing?
- NeonSkyline212 years agoSeasoned Ace@COS_hunters There's just NO WAY you average 30+ grade-A scoring chances per game. I play against really good guys every day in online versus and even these dudes only get like 5-10 a game (if I'm playing poorly). I think your opinion of what constitutes a "grade-A" chance is off.
We can't say much more unless you start showing us footage of your games. I'd be willing to watch one of these games in which you feel like you got predictably robbed.
Also whoever mentioned "getting goalie'd" earlier in this thread is right as well. Sometimes, you can completely dominate your opponent and get those 5-10 UNREAL scoring chances and still lose 2-1. It's incredibly frustrating but it just happens.

You nailed it. The goalies in the game are not the same as in real life. Completely different sport, really.
