The game won't really get any better, nor will it have the ability to branch out (PC version for example), until people kick their gambling addictions and tell them NO.
That what you described up there is 'capitalism', where a company makes a product, and sells really well, and makes a profit, and then uses those profits to invest in it's employees/technology/infrastructure/innovate/better products/etc...
EA has long joined the 'crony capitalism' era, which is just make obscene profits, buy back shares, get higher stock prices for shareholders, continue to pump out same product with new number, charge more, spend less, buy up then let go entire dev companies, make employees do more with less, make record profits, lay off more people to increase share price, buy back stock, continue to sell shareholders on HUT, make sure CEO gets another yacht, to hell with customers who want a specific game for a specific platform from a company that used to pride itself on having started out being on every console from Atari/Apple/IBM/Amiga/Atari. Of course that was BEFORE the dark times.. before the 2000's.
Electronic Arts used to stand for something. Now, EA stands for low effort high reward HUT and microtransaction obsession to pad the shareholders.
Apologies to the admins for this diatribe. I'm venting. I haven't played NHL Hockey on PC since 2003.

The money made by all modes, including HUT, goes back into the game. There isn't one person just stuffing their pockets with all the HUT profits. If it weren't for HUT, we'd most likely have less progress on this game.
Hello there from the PC gaming realm. It has been quite some time since an NHL game was released on PC. I for one am hoping that with the upcoming NHL 25 title, that this issue of not having it on PC will go away. I started playing NHL 22 on the PS4 and loved it. Eventually buying NHL 23. The only issue was that around the time I got NHL 23, I got my gaming PC. With NHL 24 release, I was hoping that 'hey, it'll be playable on the PC'. Sadly I learned that some think that the EA NHL franchise will flop on PC. There are many content creators that produce amazing content on NHL games like Nasher, Pasta, and Stick On The Ice on YouTube, but yet to record their content, they have to use a stream card. It is frustrating year after year seeing that people that are on console get to enjoy the content of NHL while those that are on the PC side, have to then fork more money then necessary to buy a console to then play these amazing titles.

Hello,
Just writing to ask for NHL on PC. Personally, I’m not usually into buying games at full price at release, but I can guarantee I would preorder nhl on pc asap. PC is a large community that is untapped by NHL. Please consider it.
thanks, and have a great day

And we need more people to open the game and play it if you have the ability to. Its simple show EA that there are benefits to having it available on PC. Especially if you are a GM mode player and all about the management side, you have zero reason to not play this. For those playing online, I can understand there may be some latency issues but you should still try and play it a little bit and see how it is. It is the only way to show EA what they are missing out on. If you don't open the game and play at least a little bit of it, than you are not a person they can count on to buy the game for PC if they spent the time and resources on doing so and therefore you are part of the reason for them making console only releases.
Thats simply not true. You want proof you add it to game pass and you will see that its highly demanded on pc. Youre not doing it because of mods. Second theres little to no difference between XBOX and pcs other then graphics. Your infrastructure is game pass. Its not on pc because PC games cost much less per average and game pass doesnt want to pay the price you ask for have it available. This is %100 about money and nothing else. You have it on the stream service for game pass but their streaming service is absolute trash. They claim peoples internet are not up to speed. 1.5 Gps is more then enough to stream any game,

Average consumer bandwidth is 100-200mbps. When you consider most family homes are distributing that among many devices, the slice of the pie left for consoles diminishes quickly unless someone at the home practices class of service packet handling, which is doubtful.
@NeonSkyline21There was an article 4 or 5 years ago that talked about the money from Ultimate Team and how it went to funding marketing and new projects. The game studios budget was determined by how many supposed copies they were predicted to sell. You have to remember shareholders want as much money as possible so giving back the bare minimum is probably the goal. And granted the article was mostly referring to FIFA which we know is a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge ultimate team cash cow who if they got all that money they should have the worlds greatest most polished game ever. lol
