I’m able to load into the dressing room by myself, but as soon as one of us is in there, the other gets an error code as soon as we try to join. It started tonight all of a sudden. We literally played yesterday.

Are either of you set as the C or A? If so, try removing it. Also, you can try completely changing the gear on your players. If that doesn't help, see if you can use a different loadout. Of course, both of you should power cycle your modem/router and consoles with these steps as well: unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely.
