Do you happen to have anything plugged in to the USB ports? If so, unplug those devices and try again. Let me know what happens. Thanks!
No, nothing plugged in. I have found a workaround - I change controllers when the screen freezes and that seems to work.

Which controller is having the problem? Is it just a standard PlayStation controller? If you start the game with it turned off, does it work?
They are both standard PS4 controllers. Doesn’t matter which one I start the game with, when I get to the language selection screen I have to switch to the other controller to unfreeze the screen.
