i am having trouble with puck control in nhl 24

It looks like you might be immediately passing as soon as contact with the puck is made. Do you have another controller you can try? Also, you should be able to test your controller by going to the Xbox settings > Devices & connections > Controllers & headsets. Under the image of your controller, you should see a beaker icon. Click on this to enter the controller test screen. Check to see if the right trigger is constantly being activated.

This doesn't look like it's related to the puck control slider. Did you try what I suggested?

Did you test it as I suggested? Have you tried another controller as well? It looks like passing is being automatically activated which means there's a problem with the controller or the button for passing is being held down.
