Same issue here for the past several years. Nothing I can do except sell my ps5 and never play again. Ea will never fix this. It's our fault though.
It's absolutely unplayable and unfair playing against guys that clearly have no button delay run circles around you. I live in Windsor Ontario and keep playing against QC players. So clearly I'm being put on the QC server and I have 12 ms ping. But it plays like 150 plus ping. With 0.5 second button delay. Players skating in mud.
If I play after 10 pm to 7am then the game has zero input delay and my game is absolutely flying. It's so fun. But I cannot play anytime during the day without delay. Clearly this is a server overload issue.
No other games have any issue what so ever with lag or delay. Just NHL and Fifa. Funny how that is. But it's my fault and hardware. Lol
