NHL 24 email verification

I just purchased NHL 24 and when I try to access any online play it is asking me to verify my details using an email I have never seen before.

after trying on EA chat support for several hours to get this resolved they said that I can’t verify my account to an email that I have never seen in my life.

I am trying to just link my current EA account to my Xbox so I can play online but from what I have seen there is no way to unlink this random email without having access to this random email address.

any assistance would be appreciated because I essentially can’t use the game I just paid 70$ for.

Unfortunately, we can't help with this over Answers HQ. An advisor will need to verify ownership of the account before the email address can be updated. The best I can advise is to try to recall the correct answers to the questions they're asking.
