Is there anything I can try now? And if not is there an expected wait time?
There is no ETA since we're still trying to find out why this is happening. In the meantime, you can try going through the connection troubleshooting steps here, but I'm not optimistic those will help.

After waiting a week I was very excited to see that I had an update. After updating, I loaded in and the game allowed me to edit class (weight height abilities) so I had high hopes. However when I clicked continue to world of chel hub it loaded just fine until the battle pass screen popped up l, freezing and crashing my game. I now believe it is a problem with the new battle pass feature, which makes me frustrated because I honestly don't care about cosmetics I just want to play. A video will be posted soon showing what happens.

I'd like you to power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!
