Re: AT&T internet and EA severs ONGOING issues without answers!!!!

I've included a screenshot I got from running that test on my Mac just now. I was loading into WoC during most of the test. Ping time averaged 112ms and lost 25 percent of the packets.

I can see about running the test again when the problem isn't going on.

I have AT&T Fiber 300 Mbps symmetrical.

Edit: It doesn't seem to matter if WoC is loading or not, my pings are roughly the same now that I quit out of the game and am sitting at the Xbox dashboard.

    Any time I load into EASHL or then move between different menus within it, there is significant packet loss. 

  • Now completely unable to connect to EASHL at all like every other night at this time for the last month:

    Packets: Sent = 73, Received = 47, Lost = 26 (35% loss),
    Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 112ms, Maximum = 149ms, Average = 128ms

  • What ever happened to the game update announced by Clappy to be released "this week" for diagnosing this issue? Or was that scrapped to just have people in the forums run traceroutes and act as unpaid IT consultants?

    Another night trying to play, another night of connection issues. Can’t load into Chel at all. 

  • So, since other carriers are not having the issue, I'd guess it's ATT's peering rather close to the EA front end game management service.

    Based on it being tied to capacity,  wondering if the wondrous powers at ATT have a dispute with a peer or something broken (doubtful due to the length of time this has been happening) that is blackholing traffic. Just a wild guess. 

    - happens with 24 or 23

    - no issues with 2k games

    - able to get into madden games

    - no other carrier having issue besides ATT 

    - happens over PS and Xbox (??? Correct?)

    So, there's prob not much EA can do, besides ask their cloud providers carrier (which probably carries more weight) to determine which route is jacked up and see if ATT has a direct route to the cloud provider or of there is another tier 1 provider between the EA game server vendor and ATT. If that's the case, it's at the mercy of ATT and their peer which can be ugly if there is a dispute. 

    Anyways. This sucks.

    Been a big spender on HUT because I'm an idi*t but that is done. HUT is awful and I can't even play EASHL because of EA refusing to fix these simple issues.

    I encourage anyone else experiencing this issue who is invested in HUT to join me in this, there is no reason to spend time and money on this game when it doesn't even work. 

  • @bck20 Im literally having dame issue i cant play my league games everynight 8pm to 10pm central time zone... Takes 15min to get into dressing room then get error code
