I am here for the same issue. I've restarted the game and restarted the PS5 and still not connecting. It is definitely not on my end, my internet is doing its job so something is up with EA. I even tried NHL23 and I get the same message.
I also cannot connect to the ea game servers after restarting the game, my playstation 4, and my wifi. I also changed my password for EA and turned off password verification but nothing has worked. It worked fine 4 hours ago.
After the update this morning I was able to get in. Not sure if that’s what fixed it, but I’m glad it works. Thanks.
Stop asking about the wired connection.... Its on your end ea! Fix it ...
