Community ManagerThere are numerous tutorials on YouTube that explain how to win faceoffs. Basically, it's a rock-scissors-paper type mini-game where you need to choose the right counter to your opponent. For example, if you see them use the forehand grip, use the stick lift. If they are tying you up, win the faceoff straight back. If they choose the backhand grip, tying them up will counter it. However, ratings and timing are also factored in.
The system was fine for what it was. There was no need to change it.

It didn't change. Unless you use Hybrid controls since you have to use the right stick now.
Yeah I'm done with nhl 24 and any future nhl games, it has killed my want to play the game I been playing nhl games since I had my first Sega and now nothing it trash, lets make everything stick driven and get rid of hybrid controls, let's change how to do a face off and give no tutorial, let's continue to ignore fans wanting to keep the same player for be a pro, and not make it a continuous growth. But make you start all over from the beginning every year, I don't care that the rookie is playing pond hockey, get some new material, leave the controls alone. The stick control for face offs is stupid and youtube is your answer how about no. HOW ABOUT LEAVING CLASSIC CONTROLS SETTINGS IN THE GAME. Ea done killed it for just like Madden and need for speed. Why do I keep falling into the oh it should be better but ea makes it more difficult to play, but hey the graphics are OK
