What could be changed? Aside from gameplay itself, there are several ways to make the game more attractive, fun, and realistic. Here are some suggestions, structured by mode.
For Offline Mode:
1. Animations and Pre-Match Atmosphere:
Introduce animations for players entering the field, realistic stadiums, glimpses into locker rooms, and fans arriving before the match. This could be similar to what’s done in FIFA/FC.
2. Be a Pro Mode:
Similar to FIFA/FC, include player interviews and a realistic journey for the Pro player, starting from a minor league and progressing to the IIHF World Championships.
3. Coach Career Mode:
Again, inspired by FIFA/FC, allow players in a coach role to select and search for new clubs based on their performance. Clubs would offer opportunities depending on achievements. With a little imagination and added realism, offline modes could be immersive and entertaining.
For Online Mode:
1. Reduce Excessive Clothing Options:
Too many clothing options feel unnecessary and cluttered.
2. Rewards for Clothing, Sticks, etc.:
Rather than unlocking everything too quickly, have items like outfits, sticks, and other gear as rewards for leveling up (e.g., reaching level 20 unlocks an X-factor or special skill). This would motivate players to reach higher levels and play more. Currently, it’s too quick and unexciting; players at level P1 already have all skills and X-factors unlocked, which reduces motivation.
3. Clubs, Divisions, and Drop-ins:
Redesign the entire CHEL experience to make it more engaging. Divisions feel dull and need something to make them more fun. Inspire the design from FIFA/FC, which includes many enjoyable elements.
