I just don't get it. Why are these goalies constantly flopping around like this? I realize the pressure was full and all of that, but why would a simple backhand shot put the goalie on his rear, and why in the world would he not get up and try to get to the post once the puck is in the corner? Why is he just swimming in his crease for no reason?
The 'Ice-Q' gimmick is aptly named, because the IQ of the AI in this game is below freezing.

Where do I begin? I'm playing right defense and I've got the puck carrier pretty well defended. I eventually knock him off the puck only for him to immediately regain the puck and quickly throw it on net. This inexplicably causes the goalie, who has nearly full energy btw, to freak out and go into a frantic desperation-type animation. This causes the goalie to start flopping around on the ice while the puck finds a nearby forward who puts home a slam dunk while my goalie is helpless because the game is just ignoring his controls and efforts to get in position.
Honestly, if you're going to make goalies and defense this bad, just remove the ability to play those positions. Just have the game be 3 forwards throwing the puck into an empty net over and over.
