Does anyone know if we are stuck with Pounder again?.
She is absolutely THE WORST. When she isn't speaking in cliches she is using wrong phrases, like "between the crease" and "shutouts are a superstition" No, the goalie is IN THE CREASE or BETWEEN THE PIPES and shutouts are a point of pride or an accomplishment, not a superstition.
and what does "Don't get me, get the window" even mean?
I turn off the announcers. I'd rather hear the sounds of the game as if I'm there. Which if you are you don't hear the commentating. Creates better immersion in my opinion.
I'm a franchise player, and I like to play the AHL affiliate games too.. because why not play two teams at once!? :)
It's not Pounder's fault, but it was programmed so that she constantly called AHL teams by the wrong name.
I wasn't fond of the short form "nicknames" she calls players: Werenski being "Weren", Boqvist called "Boqvi" etc. It was just weird to me.
Won’t by another EA NHL game, as long as Pounder is in the booth.
