Anyone know anything about the appeal process for name bans?

My name recently got banned and while I know my name was a bit cheeky, I feel like it was overkill to ban the name/not allow me to change it to something. I just submitted an appeal but my guess is that it’ll get the same treatment as when I submit horribly offensive names and get “no problem here” responses. Any help is appreciated.

I had to edit your message. If it can get actioned in game, it's probably not allowed here. I understand it seems innocent, but in the future, make sure not to post the same thing that got you banned in game, on the forums.

Unfortunately, this isn't something we can help with. You're welcome to submit a dispute here though.

Thanks for the feedback. The name was “[REMOVED].”  The [REMOVED] part is a harmless reference to the show I think you should leave about a fictional jazz player. “[REMOVED]” speaks for itself. I get that it’s borderline with the word “balls” in it.  I feel like a total ban keeping me stuck with Jordan NHL is ridiculous considering all of the other horrendous names I’ve reported to have no action taken.

May depend on how far you went with the name. Some I’ve seen have been slightly rude but I’ve also seen others that use words people would be afraid to say to someone in public which deserve a serious ban imo
