of course it hasn't. EA only cares about their money makers (HUT and Chel). guess they don't give a rip about the minority. I'm probably going to just turn off the commentators this year. at least they have that but wish they would give an option to opt out of the stupid challenges. at least till they decide to upgrade BaP. which I'll probably be dead before that.
They literally put their focus to Franchise Mode a great deal this year. And it won't shock me when the following year if Franchise gets even more love to prepare for online franchase/GM Connected to become a thing. HUT will always get changes because it's the bread n butter. If BAP does get worked on in the future it would probably be a huge revamp of the whole mode if I had to guess.
Either this or a whole new Pro player overhaul for both WoC and BaP involving something similar to what 2K or MLB does. You would use your pro player and progression would be tracked through both online and offline play. While I don't know if I am completely on board with this situation, it would be a way for them to update the game for the offline BaP players without taking away their focus point of online play.

this is just 1 in a thousand times this has happened. why didn't he continue to the boards? If I would have tried to pass it to where he was, it would have either been taken by the guy guarding me or intercepted by the guy guarding my teammate.

these are just a few. I didn't get a video on this one but the opposing team shot one on my goalie, the goalie stopped it, I was heading towards my goalie from the bottom of the circle (cause I was in front of the shooter), the GOALIE PUTS IT INTO THE NET and they score and I get a 'not guarding the net' gig? come the freak on. y'all need to get rid of the negative (or minus) performance. If you suck in a game, then nothing goes up but for pete sake, if a real NHL player has a bad game, he doesn't lose his ability he just doesn't improve but if he does good then he does gain experience. there has to be another way of dictating weather or not you go up or down on a line. I wish y'all had a 30 day money back guarantee.
As in the EA website their revamping a lot of stuff, you'll have to wait to see a deep dive if they do it.
I wish they would just put it into the blog, all the changes coming to the new game and any relevant deep dives that are required for the more aggressive changes from past years. Even if they change one thing, like give us injury stats and timelines for return. I would be happy. Oh and less stupid conversations in game.
Yes, the programming on the coaches instructions is absolutely abysmal. I love it when the game is over and the conversation indicates that you are going back on the ice. How hard is it to program in game vs game over conversations?

so as you can see #19 just skates away and says go ahead and shoot. he should have either got in front and tried to block it, poke check, tried and stood him up, something but no nothing

this one is 2 fold. first: I tried to 'dump the puck' in but wanted to use a "shot". I wasn't even going toward the goalie, I had the left stick all the way towards the boards but it shot it towards the goalie. second: again just moved so he can shoot.

now this one says I had a missed assignment. bull crap. I was right there in front of the guy but sometimes it just goes in. stop with the stupid missed assignment crap. I'd understand if I was all the way in the neutral zone or something but come on.

ok this one pisses me off. I had the left stick all the way away from the puck carrier but it automatically goes towards the puck. please stop that. that happens every time. a lot of times I don't want to poke at the puck. this auto poke check need to go unless there's a way to turn it off now that I don't know about.

I think it is slightly better at defending passes, but as you say there is still too many instances of guys skating in the wrong direction. Defenders shouldn't be skating into the offensive zone to pick up their man when the other team has the puck at center ice and it is going in the opposite direction. Sometimes the defenders let people skate right between them in the slot and do nothing to stop it.
You are correct. BAP is about 95.4% the same. If you play goalie there are some new goalie masks are new, I haven’t gotten much further than that, but the unlocks are the same, the salary perks are the same and Im going out on a limb saying that the conversations are the same. The pre game presentation is the same, 10 seconds from splash screen to puck drop and control settings do not save. So is it the same? Yes, and its frustrating because its been the same game for years.. What’s different?
