Community ManagerI don't see the old hitting coming back as we've had a lot of positive feedback that the increased skill gap is preferred over the assisted hitting from before.
We don’t need old assisted hitting back but we need to be able to aim our hits like we used to. Way too many times current auto aim chooses player without the puck if there are two opponents close to each other. More accurate collision detection would be nice too, so many times in online hit just slides past opponent with zero effect due to poor collision detection or auto aiming hit to up instead of side. The old was superior in these.
And if you really prefer the skill gap, why is the Truculence still in the game? At the very least remove the late hit bonus.One thing I have noticed with current vs old hitting in chel: when you injure someone from late hit, charging or hitting from behind, there hasn’t been a single penalty in 24 or 25. Like the game can’t handle two things same time. This wasn’t the case prior. Could you look into this?

Can you get a video show how the wrong player is being targeted? I haven't had that happen yet. There have been a couple instances where 2 players were close together and I accidentally hit the wrong one. I chalked that up to my own aim though. If this regularly happens to you, I'll need to see it.
As I said before, I will not provide any video unless input history is brought back.
You cannot aim your hit, like before the current system, only your skating direction. Rest is up to the auto aim.
Actually if you use skill stick you will get a penalty, but when using total control there are hardly any penalties, I posted about this last year ,with clips but as you can see nothing has been done about it and actually its become worse
