Why cant you just bring back real hitting and controls which we had before Nhl 24 came out so we can comeback and start playing again ? Many players including myself have left this game because of that . The game was good and fun before the new team made Nhl 24 and the whole game became a mess
Probably because you know when to hit and not use the total control crutch ,you can instantly know when someone is using total control, because the AI is like a heat seeking missle
I typically criticize this game a lot, but this isn’t one of them. I like this change to hitting and the skill gap it has added. I hope they keep it this way, so people can’t rely on an easy assistance system to bail them out when they make a wrong decision.

We should have a new training system online and offline so we can practice them… theres no place really to getting better. types of drills kinda.
The hitting doesnt work well with backskating (same as poke checking), please put some love into it. The hit box needs to be bigger, a player can shift his body leading into a hit in real life, or stick his hip back aka hip check. The hitting seems to works fine while skating forward.
