Change the world of chel playoff format:
Been long time user. I want EA to bring back the best out of three instead of making it a series of games for the club finals. I just view it a waste of time in some case because sometimes people don’t make it that far.
Also, recommendation: Change the flames goalie pads in the game we don’t use black C anymore. I want that change to the white C or blasty for the pads I’m talking about the stock pads.
I have to say, after a long time with this series and playing through various playoff formats, the current is the best one devised by EA. The original "win 4 in a row" format did make the games extremely tense/exciting, but you were overly at the mercy of matchmaking. The current best of 7 format corrects for this.
The tournament ranking format was okay, but reduced the pressure of advancing or avoiding elimination on a game by game basis and overly favored teams who could play a lot of games. But it did bring on the excitement of the leader boards being more public and concrete.
I do like that the current format marries a playoff series tournament with a ranking tournament. Leaves something for everyone. The only criticism I have is that as a guy well into his adult years (friends are the same), we basically never have enough time to reach the final round. I'd suggest extending the time frame an X number of days to let us oldies finish a run.
