Changes for NHL 26 you want to see

Biggest change I would like to see is that the pre builds be locked to only being used in drop-ins. 

Not being able to compete against us that take the time to dable with making our own in the club games. 

This would be a great way to support the community of players that enjoy playing club games.

And a few more wishes from my side: 

• puck covering: IMO this should be nerfed, because it´s nearly impossible to knock the player off the puck. Maybe I am the only one who has got this problem
• rushes: players coming from the bench just sprint to their position, even the opponent is on the rush and a player passes nearby...
  Wouldn´t it be more possible, that my player would try to catch the opponent?

I do like the idea of the mini game but I think it would merely be cool at first then something everyone would skip or be mad that they couldn’t skip. 

I´d like to have these things I am waiting for years to be fixed: 

1. During online play: keep line strategy etc. boxes in front, don´t cover them with trailers etc.
2. Line strategy boxes in general: Ever looked on white points on white ice and tried to get the right settings? In my country there is a joke about these colour-fault: It´s to have a national flag whith an white eagle on a white ground...
3. Auction house: Ever searched a specific goalie mask? No chance to filter by country, leaugue... Scrolling through hundreds of masks to find the right one. And not to mention, that the cards don´t have anx descriptions from which team they are

Thanks for the feedback. One thing though. Skill stick was never removed. That control layout is still available.

BAP:  don't just simulate the weekly training, have a mini game set up.  Have the Winter Classic, Olympic games, and All-Star game be playable. Contract negotiations should be available too. Team preference and salary desire and it could include bonus stipulations (50+ goals gets you an extra 100 grand etc ).  Bring back Skill stick 

And 2 more from my side: 

• Why can´t we change goalies during online games? Since contracts aren´t needed anymore, we should be able to change goalies
• Full video recording of every completed online game where energy levels are shown and a comparison of the rosters

Online Franchise is something we really want to bring back. I don't know if/when it will happen though.

Here's the thing about the Winter Classic. It's a very expensive and resource heavy addition that doesn't get played much. It's something most people play once and move on from. We have to get the licensing for the arena and authentically replicate it. It's a pretty big expense for something that doesn't really get a lot of use. So, the money and resources that go into that can be put to better use in other, more popular, areas of the game. 

Hopefully, we'll have the bugs you're talking about addressed in the next game. Thanks for the feedback. It's genuinely appreciated.

#1 Bring back online franchise. We can do it in Madden, NCAA, MLB, 2k...but not NHL. Best part, we had it in 2014. Bring back the winter classic/outdoor games. EA already has licensing to all of the football stadiums for this so the only hurdle would be to get the baseball stadiums. Honestly, EA, go play nhl 14 for about a month. See how you made that game, the features it had, the stat tracking, the ins and outs, and give us an nhl game like that again.  As for updates to NHL 25. The playoff mode is broken. You have to sim every game to get to your playable games. It doesnt make sense how it works. Go try it and you'll see what I'm talking about. It should be scheduled and calendared like the season is, but in playoff format. It used to be this way back on the ps3 gen of nhls. It showed the entire 7 game series on the calender. Not just the next game.

I get that. We can update for gameplay at home if we download the updated rosters but I think franchise would need to stick with whatever ratings were when you started the franchise kinda thing. As a former be a pro all the time player I always thought it would be cool to carry your team and roster over to the next expansion but I can see the challenges EA would face trying to make that happen for such a small amount of people interested in doing that.
