With nhl26 just coming around the corner which gets usually announced in August. Does EA have anytime in getting a licensing agreement with NCAA? I just view with the all these major NCAA contacts signings could be a huge problem with the game for next year. Like, we won’t even be seeing Gavin McKenna because he will probably be either playing with MSU or Penn state. - This isn’t just a problem with this one player it is any player that is leaving the CHL to go play for college team.

I think our main concern is the prospect issue with franchise mode as of now. I think with getting the NCAA in the game I think it would actually in fact cover majority of the game and increase users who are playing the game if it expands in that area. I think it would be super worth it put investment in getting that one specific league in the game.

Even if it were free to get the NCAA, I highly doubt there's a simple process to get the licensing. NCAA football is a whole different story. If hockey were as popular a sport as American football, chances are excellent they'd be included. That's sadly not the case. Hopefully, we will have licensing for NCAA and other leagues in the future.. We are very well aware of these requests.

I am under no impression that the rights and licensing is a simple process or that it is easy. My point has been that it has become a necessity with the new NCAA and CHL mess that is developing between these leagues. Without the licensing agreement with NCAA and USJHL we are going to lose the best prospects in hockey. It has been bad before with many prospects coming from USJHL, NCAA, KHL and the many other leagues not represented, but it will be far worse next year without these agreements. Realize it will be a challenge, but without it, the game will be filled with AI generated prospects far worse than ever before, which will ruin Franchise mode

It doesn't have to be the whole D1 Hockey It could just be the power conferences or at least USJHL and the NTDP u18 and u17 teams. I hope EA puts more work in franchise mode and BaP mode in 26 and the games after that.

KHL and the other leagues would be nice, but NCAA should be top priority, don't care about other updates, that one would make me buy next year.

What about a generic US University similar to the free agents sections in the transfer screen as a „league“ where you can preserve the CHL players lost to the NCAA? Would be a great way to keep atleast these or leave them on the CHL roster in the first roster update in september like you do it with the CHL to AHL guys?

there are literally dozens of features that either other EA sports games have got, or have been taken away, that people have been screaming for for years. there’s no identity to NHL and everything anybody praises you for you get rid of. **bleep** makes no sense
