My suggestion was just leaving the 94 controls as an option (simplified). the other options may still be available just for new/ newer users to have something they can use until they feel comfortable. the new game style with hitting a button to do a Michigan shouldn't be a thing either. my idea would allow new/ first time players a chance to jump right into the action. I'd like the NHL community to continue to grow and allow more users to want to purchase/ play the game so it can continue to expand. I'm sure people with physical limitations would also benefit from simplified version of the controls as well. I'm hoping I covered all the bases when I speak for those in favor of the 94 control options still being incorporated into gameplay in NHL 25. Also, what you are suggesting is already the 94 control set up to use the joystick to win draws but using the square x circle and triangle to perform the two various shot types pass and hit. I hope you understand my break down if you would like more information please feel free to reach out. Thank you for your time and consideration on the matter.
